About Teresa Lebron

Originally a Dancer of stage, film and television for 15 + yrs., I transitioned out of the industry still yearning for expansive movement so I began Yoga. Throughout the years in my career as a dancer, I was exposed to Yoga and would practice when I could in between dance jobs. I would also go to the gym and sometimes take Pilates to help with body maintenance and injury prevention. When I finally left the world of dance and pursued other fields of work, Yoga was where I went for mind body alignment. As an Executive Assistant to Barrence Baytos, an amazing Neuromuscular Therapist and retired Dancer I continued my Yoga practice. As a result I learned so much more about Anatomy, Athlete’s injury prevention and recovery. My experience working with Barrence reaffirmed my purpose and my passion to teach and help others through a Yoga practice.

For Dancers and Athletes in particular, or anyone whose job is physically taxing, the body really gets worn down after a long career. A regular Yoga practice can truly be trans-formative.

I discovered, post dance career, how much Yoga had really helped my injuries. Yoga not only for me but for others I have witnessed has proven to be life changing physically, mentally and emotionally. It can take you through anything. It not only replaced Dance for me it healed me from some major curve balls life threw at me and it also lead me to understand myself.

For me, I cannot live without my Faith or my Yoga.

Since 2006 I really became dedicated to practice Yoga and haven’t stopped since.  In particular Hatha (Vinyasa, Flow) and Bikram Yoga. The more I practiced Bikram the more I developed a love for heated style Yoga and soon thereafter knew I was meant to be a teacher. By the Summer of 2013 I received my 200 hr Teacher Training from Naam Yoga in Santa Monica Ca. Furthering my education, I certified  in Yoga Sculpt Summer of 2015 at Core Power in Studio City Ca. I then attended an Immersion October 2016 with Tantris Center for Yogic Science. I have also fine-tuned and trained to teach with some of the best at Hot 8 Yoga Sherman Oaks in the styles of Power and Hot Power Fusion. I also led my first Teacher Training in Yin Yoga Sept of 2019.

Today I am a better person all around as I continue to learn and grow through Yoga. To be able to share and spread this wealth of knowledge and experience is a dream come true.

I so look forward to the fun, growth, and the Yoga Love we will all be sharing!
