Slow Flow
In this class we will gently move thru a simple Flow of breath to movement. Great for going back to basics and building a foundation for your practice. This will help warm the body up and generate more circulation. Gradually moving into a deeper concentration on breath to assist in holding Asana’s a little longer as well as calming the parasympathetic nervous system. You will discover more calm, control over fight or flight feelings, and alignment. You will then experience length in the body as we release and let go of all that is tight, tense and challenging.
Yoga Blend
Yoga Blend is a combination of Vinyasa Flow, Pilates style Core activation, guided exercise with or without the use of weights to engage muscle for building, strengthening and toning. To slow the practice down incorporating Yin Asanas, rediscovering more length with breath creating more stillness, calm and clarity.
Yin
Yin is a very slow moving practice that targets working with connective tissue known as Foscia. Creating more space in the joints and length in the muscles. A lot of breath awareness bringing calm to the parasympathetic nervous system.
With a deeper concentration on breath to assist in holding Asana’s a little longer you will discover the calm, control over fight or flight feelings and will experience length in the body. As we release and let go of all that is tight, tense and challenging leaving you feeling renewed and restored.
Meditation
The practice of mindfulness. Training the mind to focus and or bring attention to an awareness that helps one achieve mental clarity, emotional calm and a stable state of being.
